pipettors combine electronics, optics, fine mechanics and

more efficient and ergonomic. For example, the effort required
for one pipetting action with a mechanical pipettor is the
equivalent of moving a load of several kilograms with the
thumb, whereas using an electronic pipettor requires only
a fiftieth of this effort. In addition, the microprocessor
control improves the productivity and significantly increases
precision and ease of operation.

Multichannel
Pipettes, available in 4-, 8- or 12-channel versions, have all
the features of the single-channel units plus the following
features:
- Dispensing
head rotates for optimum pipetting convenience
- Individual
piston/tip cone assemblies allow easy repair and maintenance
- Multichannel
pipettors are designed for fast and accurate liquid handling
for microplates.
- Especially
for those handling large assay series, the 8-channel dispenser
represents the most effective tool. It can dispense 100
µl across all 96 wells of a microplate in less than
10 seconds.

Pipetting
(P)
Pipette a selected volume with automatic blowout and with complete
control of the piston movement. All models. |

Reverse
Pipetting (rP)
A selected volume plus an excess is aspirated into the tip.
After delivery the excess volume remains in the tip and is discarded.
All models except 710040, 710500, 710800 and 710810. |

Diluting
(dd)
Two different solutions separated by an air gap are aspirated
and then dispensed together with automatic blow out. All models
except 710800 and 710810. |

Sequenced
dispensing (sd)
A series of different volumes can be delivered in any desired
order. A most useful feature when performing dilution series.

Post-delivery
mixing (*)
The piston is automatically moved up and down to mix the liquid
in the delivery vessel. The mixing time is controlled by the
actuating button. All models. |

Multiple
Aspiration
Select a volume from 50 to 600 µl and the number of aspirations
desired (e.g. 100 µl to be aspirated 12 times). Repeat
the aspiration until the series is complete, then discard the
full aspirated volume (e.g. 1200 µl) in a single step.
